Terms of Use
Last updated: 23 April 2026.
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) set out the rules on which Moroccan.biz (“the site”, “we”) makes the content at https://moroccan.biz/ available to you. By accessing or using the site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Nature of the site
Moroccan.biz is an independent editorial information portal covering Morocco's economy, industries, investment climate, regulatory environment and business culture. It is operated for general information and educational purposes only. Nothing on the site is, or is intended to be:
- legal, tax, accounting, immigration, financial, investment, medical or fitness advice for any particular person or business;
- an offer, solicitation or recommendation to buy or sell any security, financial instrument, real-estate asset, commercial product or service;
- a substitute for independent due diligence, professional advice, or the reading of primary legal texts and official documents;
- an endorsement of any specific company, brand, public authority, political position or investment opportunity.
The site is not a transactional platform. It does not process payments, does not operate as a business directory with paid listings, and does not represent any third party in commercial dealings.
2. Who may use the site
You must be at least 16 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your country, whichever is higher) to use the site. By using Moroccan.biz you confirm that you meet this requirement, that you have the legal capacity to accept these Terms, and that your use of the site will comply with all laws and regulations applicable to you.
3. Acceptable use
You may read the site freely, quote short excerpts with attribution and a link back to the source page, and share links to our pages on social media and in correspondence. When you use the site, however, you agree not to:
- copy, republish, scrape, mirror or redistribute substantial portions of the site's content without our prior written permission;
- frame the site, embed its pages in another site, or present its content in a way that could mislead readers about its origin or authorship;
- use automated means (crawlers, bots, scrapers, AI training pipelines) to systematically download content from the site at a rate or scale that burdens the service or that is inconsistent with our robots directives;
- interfere with the normal operation of the site, probe or test its security, circumvent access controls, or attempt to overload its servers;
- introduce malware, hostile code, or any material that is unlawful, defamatory, obscene, discriminatory or infringing;
- misrepresent an affiliation with Moroccan.biz or the identity of its editorial team;
- use the site's content as input to a commercial product or model without respecting our intellectual-property rights as set out below.
4. Intellectual property
Unless otherwise indicated, the text, structure, layout, graphics and compilation on Moroccan.biz are the intellectual property of the site's editorial team, protected under Moroccan Law 2-00 on copyright and neighbouring rights, the Berne Convention, and equivalent legislation in other jurisdictions. All rights are reserved. Third-party marks, logos and company names mentioned on the site (for example the names of public agencies, listed companies or multinationals) are the property of their respective owners and are used for editorial reference only. Their use on the site does not imply any endorsement, sponsorship or affiliation.
Short quotations (typically up to around 150 words) with clear attribution to “Moroccan.biz” and a link to the original page are permitted for journalistic, academic or internal-business purposes. Any other reproduction, translation, adaptation or commercial use requires prior written permission from the editorial team.
5. Accuracy and currency of information
We put reasonable effort into cross-checking content against publicly available sources such as HCP, Bank Al-Maghrib, the Ministry of Economy and Finance, AMDIE, OMPIC, and international institutions (World Bank, IMF, UNCTAD, OECD, WTO). However, Morocco's economy, legislation and regulation evolve continuously, and statistics are periodically revised. We therefore cannot guarantee that every figure, name or regulatory description on the site reflects the most recent state of affairs at the moment you read it. You should not rely on the site as the sole basis for any commercial, financial, tax, legal, medical or immigration decision. Before acting on anything you read here, consult the relevant primary source and, where appropriate, a qualified professional in your jurisdiction.
6. Third-party links and references
The site references and links to third-party websites, documents and services — Moroccan public-sector portals, international organisations, listed companies' investor-relations pages, trade associations, and specialist press. Those references are provided as convenient pointers to primary sources. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content or practices, and we do not endorse the products, services or statements they contain. Follow external links at your own discretion and read each third party's own terms and privacy policies before engaging with it.
7. Advertising
Moroccan.biz is supported by display advertising served through Google AdSense. Advertisements are selected and delivered by the advertising network and its partners, not by the editorial team. The appearance of an advertisement on the site does not constitute an endorsement of the advertiser or its offering. Any dealings you have with an advertiser (including purchases, subscriptions or enquiries) are strictly between you and the advertiser. Moroccan.biz is not a party to those dealings and is not liable for them. Further information about how advertising works on the site, and how you can control personalised advertising, is set out in the Privacy Policy and the Cookie Policy.
8. User-submitted content
The site does not at present offer comment sections, user forums or any other mechanism for readers to publish content directly. If you send us material by email — for example a correction, a contribution proposal or a press release — you grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to quote from, adapt and publish that material for editorial purposes, provided that we respect reasonable confidentiality requests you clearly mark in your message. You warrant that material you send us is your own or that you have the right to share it, and that it does not infringe third-party rights or contain defamatory or unlawful content.
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Moroccan.biz disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, timeliness, availability, non-infringement and freedom from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant that access to the site will be uninterrupted, that defects will be corrected, or that the site or its hosting infrastructure is free from harmful components.
10. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Moroccan.biz, its editorial contributors and its service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenues, data, business opportunities or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the site, your reliance on any information published on it, or any transaction you enter into with a third party referenced on the site, whether based on contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or any other legal theory, and even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by proven negligence or for fraud.
11. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Moroccan.biz and its contributors against any claim, liability, loss or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your misuse of the site, your breach of these Terms, your violation of applicable law, or your infringement of any third-party right.
12. Availability and changes to the site
We may add, modify or remove pages, features and functionality at any time, with or without notice. We may also suspend or discontinue the site in whole or in part. We are not liable to you or to any third party for any such modification or discontinuation.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated “last updated” date. Material changes will be signalled on the homepage for a reasonable period. Your continued use of the site after the revised Terms are posted constitutes acceptance of those Terms.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Kingdom of Morocco, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to the Terms or to your use of the site shall, to the extent permitted by law, be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of Casablanca, Morocco. Mandatory consumer-protection rights granted to you by the law of your habitual residence are not affected by this choice of forum.
